Runtime Features¶
Runtime features work through an Event Management Agent running next to your event broker services. In Solace Cloud the Event Management Agent can be managed for you; in Sovereign Home Cloud you deploy and run it yourself, in your datacenter. Once it is connected, Event Portal can push configuration such as queues and access control lists to your event broker services and scan what runs on them; see Pushing Configuration to Event Broker Services.
Notifications¶
Sovereign Home Cloud does not send emails. In Event Portal this affects:
- Event access requests. Requesters and domain owners aren't notified when a request is made, approved or declined. Check the event access requests list in Designer.
- Invitations. Users aren't invited by email. The Ops User Interface (UI) administrator creates them.
Audit Logs¶
The organization's audit log, in the Cloud Console's account details, records user and account activity. It doesn't record changes made in Event Portal, such as creating an event or approving an access request.
Sessions¶
Cloud Console sessions end 30 minutes after you sign in, whether or not you're active. Sign in again to continue.
Feature Packages¶
Every Event Portal feature package is on, and nothing is billed.
